Feet on Michigan’s Soil! January 30, 2012Written by jhoffmann on January 30th, 2012
Last Tuesday, Conner arrived in the field in his first area in Niles, Michigan! He was able to call a few family members from the airport and was sounding enthusiastic as ever. Mondays are still his P-Days so get those emails to him before then.

Here is part of an email received from him today:
“This week has been so amazing. My companion’s name is Elder Knight. He’s pretty awesome. We found about 6 new investigators and taught about 9 lessons. We’re the bomb. I had my first tracting experience! It consisted of a lady answering the door, me freezing up and stumbling about how we’re walking around teaching lessons to people. I had no idea why I was saying the things I was. haha it didn’t make any sense. then she closed the door and we walked away.
I’ve never been so excited to wake up at 6 30 and work all day until 9 30 :). I guess that’s what missionary work does to people. I can’t believe i’ve already been out a month! time is flying! I love you so much! Peace out!”
