Elder Hoffmann recieved a birthday princess tiara as part of a care package from home... along with the instructions that he may not eat the junk food in the package without first emailing a tiara picture back. He complied beautifully, don't you think?
” So far the work has been relatively easy going. I’m so open about not being perfect and striving to better myself that it almost feels like it’s easier than it should be. Humility makes life easier, by far! I didn’t get the door shut in my face til friday. The story I told was about how awkward it was, because i said..”we’re just out here teaching people lessons…” then she declined and slowly closed the door. It was pretty sweet tho lol. I’ll attach some pictures of my apartment and stuff
This week was pretty slow because we had to cancel all our appointments for tuesday and wednesday for a training meeting they sprung on us. We had to get up at 4 am and drive to Indianapolis, ugh! it was awful. But we made it through, and the training was crazy spiritual
My companion is a goober. by far the most random person I’ve ever met. Which is probably why we get along so well. He’s from Grantsville, Utah.
There are squirrels EVERYWHERE over here!
they’re so cute! they’ve also got some serious parkour skills. My apartment is smaller than most missionaries living rooms, so now I feel like anything bigger is ungodly and a waste of space…(how’s that for a mission lesson) Now I’m convinced I’m going to live in a trailer the rest of my life
less space to clean too.
I miss you all, but not enough to come home. “Stop telling me about your life, cuz I don’t care”…is what I would say if I hated you, but I don’t so feel free to write me letters and stuff all the time. Care packages are accepted and only parcially expected. My address is 812 Clay St. Apt. B Niles, Michigan 49120
Much love, Elder Hoffmann <(”) <—– fear my penguin!
P.S. Now stop bugging me about the tiara picture!”
